I found a nutritionist at a chiropractor in Oklahoma City and I can’t say enough good things about it. I tell all my friends that my life truly turned around after I made a single visit to this office and talked to someone who cared about my health and well being. Goodness knows I tried all the traditional approaches and nothing seemed to work. I didn’t even know what was wrong with me until I got tested at a doctor’s office and they learned I had a serious potassium deficiency. I thought I was dying because my kidneys were in such bad shape.
I had visions of renal failure and/or dialysis for life until they pointed out that I had a vitamin deficiency that should be easily fixed through a change in diet. What I didn’t know at the time is that I should have been put on some sort of a drip. Yes, it was that bad! So I go home with some vague idea about eating more vegetables or something when what I really needed was grams of potassium put into my body through an IV drip. I don’t know why they didn’t help me, and of course I got worse.
I went to the chiropractor at the suggestion of a co-worker who overheard me talking about my problems. He said they had a nutritionist there who was wonderful and would get me fixed up right off. I jumped at the chance, obviously, and I believe it saved my life. They took one look at me when I walked in and knew something was wrong. They were angry the doctor didn’t seem to care and they immediately got me on big doses of potassium supplements. It was like night and day. I improved immediately in every respect. I can’t say enough good words about these people.
I used to work outside in the sunshine. I never complained much of back pain before. I had a couple of bouts with what I would call throwing my back out, but they were short term impairments. Then I got a promotion to an inside job. It was not just inside a building, it was in a subterranean level of a building that was pretty far underground. It always felt cool and slightly damp to me where I was working, and that combined with the slow pace had me seeing a chiropractor in Tracy CA for the first time in many years.
My chiropractor recommended I go back to my old routines as much as possible. I requested second shift work in order to be able to spend the mornings outside in the sun. Continue reading
It was not like I had much to do with it, beyond being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting my car smashed up beyond repair. I got beat up pretty good, they took me to the hospital with a broken arm and a bunch of cuts and bruises. Then I needed to get a Livermore dentist to fix my mouth. It was really messed up and while I was in the hospital the only thing I could eat came in through a straw. Of course I do not mind a milk shake, but that is not what you want to have for every meal. I was only there for a couple of days though, so it was not that big of a deal really. The bad part was that I had no car and I missed two weeks at work. Continue reading
I like the electrical stim therapy I get at the chiropractor. I have a friend who gets acupuncture that is electrified, but I do not like needles. Come to think of it, I am not a fan of electricity either. I abhor getting that static shock in the winter when you touch a doorknob or other metal object. I started going to a San Francisco chiropractor when my chronic shoulder pain got to be too much for me. I have nerve damage and some issues with what are called glycosylated end products that had caused frozen shoulder. Basically it is sugar that gets into a muscle fiber ring that is in your shoulder area. Continue reading
Coolsculpting in Austin 78746 has become one of the hottest trends and I can see why. People who have been chubby for years are losing their fat in just minutes. Something that would have taken them months if they had followed a diet and exercise plan, or maybe even years, depending on how much they weigh and the metabolism of their body, can now just be tackled with a procedure that doesn’t even require a knife or a needle. If that isn’t one of the greatest advancements in medical history, then I don’t know what is.
My best friend was curious about the whole thing and wanted to just read a pamphlet to learn more about it. Continue reading
Finding apoteket online was a godsend for me seeing as how I recently lost my job of thirty years and have to wait for another year before I can receive health coverage from the government. I wasn’t sure how I would be able to get my drugs, specifically my erectile dysfunction pills. It might seem silly that I would worry about taking those pills, but you know what I am talking about if you are an otherwise healthy man of advanced age. The thought of going without those pills for a year or longer is simply unthinkable.
At first I thought it wouldn’t be that hard to pick some up locally until I found out what they cost around here without insurance. Good grief they are expensive! If I went ahead and bought these pills down the street, I would be making a choice between the pills and things like gasoline and even food. That is entirely unacceptable. I knew there had to be another option for someone like me, and I went online with the aim of finding a solution that wouldn’t empty my wallet. That is when I found a site that sells this stuff without a prescription.
Even better, they sell different types of the drug and even different brands that do the same thing. The plethora of options means anyone can find an affordable option that will save them a lot of money and time. As I perused the options, I quickly came to the realization that I should have done this a long time ago. Even with my insurance co-pay I was paying more than I can get these from the site. I went ahead and ordered a couple of different types of pills and they arrived very quickly and in great shape. My wife and I are happy campers!
When I went to my ob/gyn, I suspected that I was pregnant. I did not want to take a home pregnancy test because I just did not want to get my hopes up. I made the appointment and was able to get in there that same week, which is a rarity! When she told me that I was pregnant, I could not stop crying. She told me everything I needed to know for that particular visit, but the one that surprised me was the suggestion that I look into Sacramento chiropractic care. I had never needed a chiropractor, so I was not sure why I would want to start going to one just because I was pregnant.
She explained that the body changes so much during a pregnancy, and women can experience a lot of joy but a lot of pain as well. She wanted me to stay ahead of the game so the pain would hopefully not come. Continue reading
I got a recumbent bike to exercise. It is supposed to be easier on my back. It is. There is no doubt about that for me. However, I like to overdo things. Rather than easing back into riding the bicycle, I decided to run 30 miles on the trail the first day. I had stopped riding months ago because my back would hurt riding my regular upright mountain bike. I irritated my sciatic nerve this time, and I stopped on my way home from the trail to see my Santa Rosa chiropractor. I made the staff laugh at my predicament. They warned me, and I did not listen. The doctor just looked at me kind of funny and did the work to help undo what I did to my back.
The treatment helped a lot. I was able to ride five miles the next day with just a twinge of pain. The sciatic nerve runs down your lower back to your foot. Well, that is where you feel the pain anyway. It would burn and then shoot electrical kinds of pain into my big toe. It felt like I was being shocked and burned at the same time. Continue reading
What pain words are in your vocabulary? Do you say “Ouch” a lot? How about a good old-fashioned “Oww?” When my back catches, I will give out an exclamatory “Oh!” Sometimes I just grab my back and catch myself saying, “Stupid back pain!” My wife says I groan and made caveman noises when I get out of bed during the pain times with my back too. When I start using more pain words, I go see my Orland Park chiropractor for relief. Just like I know to come in out of the rain, I know to go see my chiropractor when my back starts to hurt.
I get relief when I go. However, I am also the guy who will complain about his hair being too long and then not go see a barber for another month. I keep doing this with my back too, and I admit that it is stupid. Continue reading
Our son was looking forward to a football career. He studies a subject that is intensely interesting to him, but he also intensely pursues football. When he was injured his senior year of high school, we thought he recovered just fine. Then one day he told me that his back was hurting all the time. We had him see our family doctor, an orthopedist, a neurologist and a surgeon. Every one of them had variations of a diagnosis and different recommended treatments. Our family doctor suggested we start with a San Rafael chiropractor he knows before we consider anything as radical as surgery. Continue reading
